Momentum continues to gain for the pioneering Sydney Biomedical Accelerator (SBA), a unique partnership between the University of Sydney, Sydney Local Health District and the New South Wales Government.

With the precinct set to extend across both the University campus and the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Sydney’s inner-west, the clinical, academic and industry collaborations fostered through the SBA will address some of the world’s most complex health challenges.

Attending a recent gala event to celebrate its inception, Bionics Gamechangers Australia CEO, Dr Robyn Stokes said the evening reflected the outstanding opportunity presented by the SBA to bring together key stakeholders to drive greater biomedical research, innovation and commercialisation within Australia.

“Collaboration is the key to the success of our national bionics ecosystem, and Bionics Gamechangers is thrilled to celebrate the ongoing development of the Sydney Biomedical Accelerator and its unique position to help advance bionic devices, treatments and implants in our own backyard,” said Dr Stokes.
